What is Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your car's clear coat, forming a permanent hydrophobic layer of glass-like protection. Unlike wax (which lasts weeks), a professional ceramic coating lasts 5+ years.
What Does It Actually Do?
- Extreme water beading — rain, dirt and grime run straight off.
- UV protection — stops paint from oxidising and fading.
- Chemical resistance — protects against bird droppings, tree sap and road salt.
- Deep gloss — the "wet look" that makes colours pop.
- Easier washing — dirt slides off, no more heavy scrubbing.
Why Prep Matters
A ceramic coating locks in whatever is under it. That's why we always paint-correct the car first — see our paint correction guide. Skipping the prep is the #1 mistake DIY-ers make: you seal in swirl marks and water spots for years.
Our Ceramic Coating — One Service, Done Right
We keep it simple: one professional-grade paint ceramic coating, €300 flat, applied by hand over freshly-corrected paint. One full day in the shop, cured overnight in a dust-controlled bay, and you drive away with 5+ years of protection.
- Full paint decontamination — iron fallout remover, clay bar, panel wipe.
- Multi-layered ceramic application by hand, panel-by-panel.
- Cured overnight — no dust, no rushed IR-lamp finish.
- Includes every painted panel: bonnet, roof, doors, boot, bumpers.
Because prep is non-negotiable, our booking flow pairs the coating with a Stage 1, Stage 2 or Stage 3 Buffing — pick whichever matches the state of your paint, and we'll handle the sequencing.
Aftercare — Getting the Most From Your Coating
Aftercare essentials:
- Keep dry for 24 hours, no washing for 7 days.
- Only pH-neutral shampoo and the two-bucket method afterwards.
- No automatic car washes — hand wash only.
- Dry standing water after rain for the first month.
